The Project Management Group
The Project Management Office (PMO) provides skilled project managers to support the university’s highly visible and complex projects. Implementing a new project at the enterprise level requires strategic planning, management, and deployment. The project manager’s role is to provide business continuity and visibility to the many tasks required to execute projects, clearly communicate the status and tasks, and work closely with project sponsors to ensure successful completion of projects and specific objectives. They work with faculty and staff to help ensure projects are delivered as close to the forecasted time, budget, and scope as possible.
