The Application Development group provides KSU entities with the tools to improve
efficiency and accuracy in their business processes. We provide custom applications
for faculty, staff, and students through KSU Connect and Owl Express as well as third
party applications.)

Database Administration
The Database Administration Group provides 24x7 monitoring and support of the enterprise-wide
production database services to the campus community. We offer a full spectrum of
database administration and support services including database architecture development,
performance tuning and monitoring, and disaster recovery and business continuity operations.

The Project Management (PMO) Office provides skilled Project Managers to support the
university’s highly visible and complex projects. Implementing a new project at the
enterprise level requires strategic planning, management, and deployment. The project
managers role is to provide business continuity and visibility to the many tasks required
to execute projects, clearly communicate the status and tasks, and work closely with
project sponsors to ensure successful completion of projects and specific objectives.
They work with faculty and staff to help ensure projects are delivered as close to
the forecasted time, budget, and scope as possible. To request a project go to

The UITS Training group serves Kennesaw State University Faculty, Staff, and Students
by designing, developing, and delivering a wide variety of technology training services.
