The Technology Outreach (TO) team provides supportive services to the University through training, learning technologies administration and support, as well as communication regarding upgrades, outages, and technology maintenance.
This group is responsible for facilitating technology training on campus through in-person workshops, one-on-one training, group training by request, and documentation for supported software. The team administers and supports the University System of Georgia's learning management system (LMS), D2L Brightspace and other academic learning technologies supported by Kennesaw State University. This unit evaluates new software and services prior to campus implementation to ensure quality and that KSU community members enjoy the software's full benefits. In addition, TO provides campus communications for all UITS technologies and services, including communications for major campus technology projects and initiatives.
Technology Outreach’s mission is to ensure all users feel capable, competent and confident using the technology to which they have access.
