The Process and Project Management Department (PPM) provides skilled project managers and business analysts to support the university’s highly visible and complex projects. Implementing a new project at the enterprise level requires strategic planning, management, and deployment. The project manager’s role is to provide business continuity and visibility to the many tasks required to execute projects, clearly communicate the status and tasks, and work closely with project sponsors to ensure successful completion of projects and specific objectives. In addition to the Project Manager, the Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between the functional and technical teams focusing on documenting concise requirements, analyzing current and future business processes for efficiencies, and assist with organizational readiness. Together, the project manager and business analyst will ensure projects are delivered as close to the forecasted time, budget, and scope as possible.
