How to Check Your Grades in D2L Brightspace

Want to know how well you're doing in your classes? It's easy!

Here's a simple guide to check your grades in D2L Brightspace:

  1. Log in to D2L Brightspace.
  2. Click on "Grades" in the navigation bar.
  3. View Your Grades: You'll see a list of your assignments and their corresponding grades.

A Note on Final Grades: Your final grades will be calculated by your instructors and available once they release your grades.

Grade Appeals Process

Beginning this semester, KSU is implementing a fully digital workflow for the grade appeal process. This digital submission process and workflow will make navigating grade appeals more straightforward and efficient for students as well as for faculty and administrators. 

Please note that the window of time during which students may appeal grades begins the day after grades are posted and ends 20 days after the first day of classes the following semester.

Your NetID and Email After Graduation

Wondering what happens to your NetID and KSU email after you graduate?
Here's a quick breakdown:

NetID:

  • One Year Grace Period: You'll have access to your NetID for up to one year after your final semester.
  • Post-Grace Period: After the one-year mark, your NetID will be deactivated.

KSU Email:

  • One Year Access: You can continue to use your KSU email for up to one year post-graduation.
