AI at KSU: Microsoft Copilot
IMPORTANT: Always check with your professor(s) before using AI for academic work.
Check out Microsoft Copilot, an artificial intelligence (AI) powered chatbot that produces text and images—and it's the only AI tool that ensures data protection for KSU students, faculty, and staff.
While Copilot is available for everyone, to protect your data you MUST log in at copilot.microsoft.com using your KSUmail address and password. Look for the "Protected" logo in the top-right corner—this indicates your data is
encrypted, not retained by Microsoft, and not used as a training set for the AI.
Many AI chatbots save data you enter and even use it to train their systems. Currently, the only way to use AI securely for KSU-related tasks is to access Copilot
with your KSU credentials as described above.
